The Volcanic Party 5 took place in Cournon, France, in february 1999. There I had a lecture about procedural worlds. I talked about procedural textures, procedural modeling, and procedural animation. Basically I covered all the book Texturing & Modeling A Procedural Approach, from Perlin noise to QAEB tracing. I also added some personal examples found in the demo world, in SIGGRAPH papers, everywhere. I also presented some work from World Builder, Terragen, Arete Software, Four Elements .
