MAX Exporter

 

This is what I wrote to learn C++, MAX API and the MFC ! That was a hell of a job but I ended up with a very complete exporter for 3D Studio MAX 2.0 or 3.0. To keep things short, I export everything. Cameras, Lights, Shapes, Helpers, Meshes, Bezier patches, Character Studio, Materials, Submaterials, Textures, Controllers, Animations, background and ambient colors, environment information, the whole thing. I worked at Heliovisions for one year, and they’re responsible for the FOX Kids rides. So what ? I successfully exported and replayed their rides (some of them have about one million faces).

Anyway I rewrote a complete (and eventually better) plug-in called Flexporter.
